Conceived in autumn 2016 in the steam room of the University at Buffalo’s Alumni Arena after a fierce game of cutthroat racquetball, Foundlings debuted with a “reading and rager” May 1st at Sterling Tap and Wurst. Co-editors Max Crinnin, S. James Coffed, and Aidan Ryan collaborated with designer Darren Canham to craft Vol. I, featuring poets Neil Savoy, Justin Karcher, Steven Dowd, and Ruby Anderson, and available at Buffalo’s Talking Leaves, Dog Ears, and Second Reader independent book stores. You can also buy print or digital copies of the magazine through Gumroad.
